LASA has prepared a submission to the Senate Inquiry examining the Aged Care Bills. LASA supports the reform process but has made clear statements regarding the lack of detail of subordinate legislation contained in principles yet to be released.¬† LASA has also provided pr√©cis legislation regarding small amendments to the primary bills.¬† LASA will continue its advocacy to ensure age service providers can operate in a stable environment. LASA provided the Community Affairs (Legislation) Committee with a comprehensive submission regarding the proposed amendments to the Aged Care Act Bills. LASA’s clear position is that the bills cannot pass through Parliament without the related details of the accompanying principles.
